Hematite is a metallic ore with a range of natural colorations, from black to steel gray, brown to reddish brown, and red. It is widely used for iron extraction and is noted for its grounding and protective qualities. The hematite in this Northern Lights and Hematite Earrings set displays a pure gunmetal silver hue, with any other colors being reflections.

The small crystals are jet black with a 2x "AB" coating, so named for the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.
